Gods & Monsters

The Norse Gods and monsters of Wolfsangel

Odin

Chief of the Norse Gods and the strangest among them. Lord of magic, poetry, the dead and the hanged, archaeological evidence suggests that Odin wasn’t as widely worshipped as more down to earth Gods such as Thor, Freyr and Tyr. Odin’s patronage could not be relied upon and, if he really favoured a hero, he might see to it that the man was killed in battle, in order to join the dark god in his halls where armies of dead warriors feast all night after fighting all day.
